What are you doing in your home area? We would love to have you add to the comments and tell everyone. We know that some of you work with falls across the lifespan, so this is a great opportunity to share with each other. Please post a comment so that we can all share. On November 1, we launched celebrations in Hanover Ontario for the Grey Bruce Fall Prevention and Intervention Program. Among the resouces we shared were Trivia Cards for both age groups. Sample Question: Where do most falls occur among children aged 5 to 9? a) Outside the home,  b) At school, c) At playgrounds or d) Around the home. Answer: c) At the playground. Falling is a normal part of the development as children walk, climb, run, jump, play and explore the environment. Want to know more about this initiative and how these cards are used?
