How are you engaging in child fall prevention messaging along side of research supporting free play

Research tells us how developmental stage can influence the evolving risk for child falls/injury. Yet as children get older, there continues to be emerging evidence supportive of "free play". How are you balancing your messaging/approaches with within these two, sometimes opposing concepts?
