This webinar is presented by Professor Rebecca Ivers, head of the School of Population Health at the University of New South Wales and a National Health and Medical Research Council Senior Research Fellow. She was Executive Editor of the recent WHO technical package Step Safely, Strategies for Preventing and Managing Falls Across the Life-Course and has been leading research on fall prevention and injury prevention for 20 years. In this webinar, Professor Ivers describes the burden of childhood falls globally, covers who is most impacted, and identifies effective prevention approaches.
